The Dominica Solid Waste Management Corporation (DSWMC) wishes to inform the public that we are currently experiencing a delay in waste collection services.
Commercial Entities:

Please haul your waste directly to the Fond Cole Sanitary Landfill or use a contractor for this purpose.

Refrain from placing waste along roads, in the city, or in other parts of the island.
Residents:

Food waste: Compost where applicable.

Recyclables (glass, plastic, and cans): Put out only on scheduled collection days.

Other residential waste: Bag, place in a bin, and put out for collection only on the specified days and times.
The Corporation urges everyone to remember that waste management is our collective responsibility. Let's reduce, reuse and recycle.
Additionally, the Corporation is committed to enhancing and optimizing stakeholder engagement in waste management for 2025. We are keen on collaborating with all sectors to transform waste management services in Dominica.
